Image Info From July 12 to July 18 of 1925 the National Federation of Business and Professional Women's Clubs (NFBPWC) held their seventh annual convention in Portland. Nearly 2,000 members of the organization made their way to Portland by car, boat, train, and plane. The City of Portland asked Lewiston to borrow three passenger train cars because of the sheer amount of women flowing into the city.
