Image Info The annual governor's convention brought together the nation's governors for a large gathering. The streamliner Calvin Austin brought the governors to the Poland Spring Resort where the convention and a lobster buffet dinner was held. Other people affiliated with the governors were also invited to attend the convention. Maine's governor in 1925 was Ralph Owen Brewster, who posed for the cameramen on the sidewalk among other guests.
