Image Info On Monday June 29, 1925, many of the nations Governors arrived in Maine for the annual Governors convention that was held in Poland Spring. The Governors arrived to much fanfare, including the roaring of the guns at Fort Williams and the blaring horns of the Fifth Infantry Band. The politicians also traveled to Bar Harbor.
