Image Info An unknown worker was captured beginning the process for birch dowels manufactured at Saunders Brothers mill. As an article in the Portland Evening Express, on December 3rd edition noted, this was one of many products that kept the factory busy; Saunders Brothers also made lollipop sticks, chair rounds, and umbrella handles.
