Image Info From the left, Patrolman Neil T. Kelliher, Motor Vehicle Inspector James T. French, and Patrolman Daniel J. Lynch were the arresting officers of murder suspect Harry A. Kirby. Kirby was accused of shooting Mrs. Emma F. Towns then abducting and murdering her niece Aida Hayward of Winthrop, Maine. Kirby was turned in by the owners of the Pond lodging house in Newburyport, Massachusetts.

According to the front page story in the Portland Evening Express May 25, 1925, when the officers arrived at the door, Kirby asked "Do you want me?". "We sure do", replied Patrolman Kelliher. This picture was taken in Newburyport and used on page sixteen as a part of a photo array.
