Image Info Photographer and Kingfield native Chansonetta Stanley Emmons frequently captured Lucy Butts Carvill (1824-1916) as her subject. Emmons, an early 20th-century Maine photographer, often photographed home-based production methods with their roots in Colonial times. Census records listed Lucy's occupations as "Keeping House" and "Farmer."
