St. Agatha's first rectory was built by Rev. E. Etenaud who styled it like houses built in France. In the background on the right is Le Couvent de Notre Dames de la Sagesse which, at that time, was a boarding school and hospital.
Fr. Etenaud was born in St. Martin, France on March 3, 1836.
