Image Info The Davis Drug Store carriage, photographed on Portland street in 1914, was soon to join the South Berwick Centennial Parade. The riders are Charles "Chas" Davis, his wife, Mrs. Ben Davis, and Flossie Smith.

Benjamin F. Davis established Davis Drug Store in 1889. The store was open in downtown South Berwick until at least the 1930s.
Benjamin Davis, the druggist, was born in 1862 and lived in a three-story Victorian house on 150 Portland Street until he died in 1933.
