A crowd at Old Orchard Beach watches the 2nd annual aviation meet in 1924. The event was so popular all of the surrounding hotels reached maximum capacity. On the third night of the meet hundreds of people were sleeping on the beach and in automobiles in order to watch the Labor Day show.
