Image Info According the the Portland Schools Annual Report, by 1924 the Junior Americanization class at the Woolson School in Portland included 35 students of 11 different nationalities: Armenian, Canadian, Chinese, Danish, Greek, Italian, Jewish, Lithuanian, Norwegian and Russian.

According to the report, students who began in the Americanization class in the fall had graduated to mainstream classes at Portland High, North School, Staples School and Jackson School.
