Image Info Hampden Fairfield (born 1835), son of Gov. John Fairfield, posed for this photograph on May 30, 1889. He was an attorney in the law firm of Hampden Fairfield and Luther R. Moore. He lived for many years at 56 Beach Street and was president of York National Bank. He served as the president on many local nonprofit boards and played important roles in Laurel Hill Cemetery, the Dyer Library, and Thornton Academy.
