Image Info The Italian Garden in Bar Harbor on Cromwell Cove. It was also known as the John Kennedy Garden as it was located at the John Stewart Kennedy estate "Kenarden" in 1892. William Burton was the gardener. It was eventually sold to Dr. John Thompson Dorrance, a chemist who invented condensed soup and was president of the Campbell Soup company. The Kenarden estate was torn down in 1960 and rebuilt in 1970.
