Image Info The businesses looking down the south side of Main Street towards Vallee Square in the 1890’s are F.X. Girard grocery store, the Presumpscot House which was the home of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows (I.O.O.F.), B.F. Robert’s Livery, Boarding and Baiting Services (a taxi service), Chas B. Woodman Apothecaries (Pharmacy), Graffam and Morse Barber Shop, the first Post Office, T.H. Snow Stoves and Tinware Company, and the Congregational Church.
