This manuscript map of Lake Erie depicts the international border between the U.S. and Canada. The cartographers based the western part of the map on actual surveys created under the orders of the Board of Commissioners, while they derived the eastern section from existing maps. This map is part of the Thomas Barclay Collection (Coll. 26).
