Image Info Mr. and Mrs. Charles E. Hanscom lived near the corner of Brattle Street and Old South Road in the Old Fields area of South Berwick. Their farmhouse resembled others nearby that were built as housing for workers at the nearby Newichawannock Company Woolen Mill on the Great Works River.
